LOLER & PUWER (LETI 22)

Who should attend?
Potential and existing personnel who have received no formal instruction and those requiring refresher training.

Duration:
Half a day including safety awareness and achievement test.

Aims:
To give training and assessment towards the LGH Training Certificates of Training achievement and provide proof of training for use at the delegate's place of work.

Content:
At the end of the course the delegate should be able to:

• understand the requirements of the relevant legislation
• apply the regulations to particular situations
  
• understand the implications of non compliance
• understand the role of the inspectorate (HSE & local)
• complete the relevant documentation
  

Knowledge:
At the end of the course the delegate should have an adequate knowledge of:

• the LOLER and PUWER regulations
  
• the practicalities of applying the legislation
  
• the hardware and software requirements to comply with the legislation
  
• the duties and responsibilities of the owner and user of lifting equipment
