LOLER & PUWER (LETI 22)
Who should attend?
Potential and existing personnel who have received no formal instruction and those requiring refresher training.
Duration:
Half a day including safety awareness and achievement test.
Aims:
To give training and assessment towards the
LGH Training
Certificates of Training achievement and provide proof of training for use at the delegate's place of work.
Content:
At the end of the course the delegate should be able to:
- understand the requirements of the relevant legislation
- apply the regulations to particular situations
- understand the implications of non compliance
- understand the role of the inspectorate (HSE & local)
- complete the relevant documentation
Knowledge:
At the end of the course the delegate should have an adequate knowledge of:
- the LOLER and PUWER regulations
- the practicalities of applying the legislation
- the hardware and software requirements to comply with the legislation
- the duties and responsibilities of the owner and user of lifting equipment
