Site Safety Awareness (LETI 23)
Who should attend?
Potential and existing operators who have received no formal instruction and those requiring refresher training.
Duration:
Half a day including achievement test.
Aims:
To give training and assessment towards the
LGH Training
Certificates of Training achievement and provide proof of training for use at the delegate's place of work.
Content:
At the end of the course the operative should be able to:
- understand the requirements of the relevant legislation
- extract and verify site safety information in HSE and other relevant guidance notes
- be aware of the need to adopt a safe attitude when working on client sites
Knowledge:
At the end of the course the operative should have an adequate knowledge of:
- Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- Construction Health Safety & Welfare Act 1996
- Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992
- Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
- Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992
- RIDDOR Regulations 1995
- Electricity on Site, Site Specific Rules
